The Melodic Reverence of Manipur’s icon singer, 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊 𝒀𝒖𝒎𝒏𝒂𝒎, visiting the “𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬”  to select the product of her choice.

Preeti Yumnam, the iconic singer of Manipur, known for her traditional linguistic lyrics and unique melodies, visited “LeimaTraders” to select products of her choice. Among the treasures offered, her selections reflected a deep appreciation for Manipuri weavers and a quest to choose products reflective of her cultural roots.

Her lyrics aim to teach traditional linguistic philosophy (Wangulon) to contemporary audiences. One of her best songs, “Engagi Leichil” and another newly hit song is “Amambagi khutsem” – “Blood is recompensed for mother’s milk, and soul seeks sacrifice for blood”. A patriotic song for martyrs, warriors, mothers, lawmakers, and those who operate from the dark side etc. It is bridging past sacrifices with hopes for a harmonious future in Manipur.
